Welcome to Covenant Reformed Baptist Church!

Planning Your Visit:

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We have no dress code, beyond the Biblical insistence on modesty. Instead of focusing on externals, endeavor with God’s help to prepare your heart to worship him “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24), which means sincerely (from the heart) and correctly (according to God’s revealed word).

If you have a Bible, bring it with you as we'll be referring to it a lot. If not, no problem though! We have free Bibles for all of our guests to use and take home with you!

In addition to the Bible, we'll sing from a hymnbook and we print a programme each week which includes lyrics to a different Psalm each week that we’ll sing together as we worship. The leaflet also includes some information about the church and about the worship service itself, so someone will make sure you receive both a hymnbook and a programme prior to the service starting.

So everything you will need will be provided.

What to Expect:

During the Service:

In our effort to worship God “in truth” (John 4:24), we worship him only in the ways that he has prescribed; namely, hearing from him through the reading and preaching of the Scriptures, and responding with prayer, singing, and offerings, as well as participation in the sacraments of baptism and communion. We only baptize on occasion, as God brings people to faith in Christ. However, we participate in communion every Sunday morning, and the table is open to all who are members of either CRBC or another gospel-believing church. We believe that a Biblically informed and Biblically saturated worship service like this is most honoring to God and most beneficial for his people!

We encourage parents to keep their children in the service with them, as the children are able. However, we do have a room for babies and small children who may not be able to make it all the way through the service. It’s called “The Wiggle Room” and it will always be staffed by 2+ volunteers. Feel free either to leave your children there for the whole service or come in and out as needed if you’re trying to help your kids practice sitting through the service.

After the Service:

Many people stay for a while after the service for casual conversation and fellowship. Others leave more quickly. Feel free to stay for as long as you like, or leave as quickly as you need to!
